Wild Edibles

The Pinhoti Trail
The Pinhoti Trail is a great trail that runs through Alabama and Georgia to connect with the Benton-McKaye Trail, which in turn connects with the Appalachian Trail. My Pinhoti page describes the Georgia section of the Pinhoti, which is far less developed than the Alabama Pinhoti. When the trail has been completed, it will provide access to the AT from South Florida.
Camping, Hiking, Backpacking
My wife and I really enjoy backpacking and related outdoor activities. We try to make every effort to get out, but don’t go as often as we would like. This page describes some of my backpacking information, including a trail log that I don’t update very often.
